Dr. seuss also known as Theodor Seuss Geisel,was born in 1904 on
Howard Street in Springfield, Massachusetts. Dr. Suess pubilished
his first book in 1937 "And to Think I Saw it on Mulberry Street. Theodor
Suess Geisel -- known as "Ted" to his family and his friends --he likes his adoptded name "Suess" or "Dr. Suess" , becuase he was saving his actual name for the Great American Novel. He would one day write. That probibly was never even true. when he talked to the Media. Geisel was more intrested in telling a good story than a true story. Dr. Suess wrote and illistrated 44 books for the children.
